2 qbit flip gate?

I work in academia and had the following question pertaining to a particular quantum circuit we are working on. Is there a gate available that can take 2 qbits as input and flip them both only if they are both 1?

A CNOT gate would only flip 1 of the bits. I need |11> -> |00> purely, without any outside entanglement with a third qbit.

Hi Kunal,

As far as I know, in the standard Quantum Computers that are available, there is no such single gate. However, you could always create a collection of gates (or an algorithm) to create the desired result, but this will, in my opinion, be slightly more difficult to construct. Should you need one, I’d be happy to help you out. 🙂

I hope this helps.
